As a creative director, in under two years VAL has led the image transformations of artists such as Lyanno and Joyce Santana, shaping cohesive visual identities that extend beyond music. She is also the creative director of Lyanno’s lifestyle brand, Dirty Players.

VAL directed the Spydercam team during Bad Bunny’s Amazon Prime live recording, contributing to one of the most high-profile live productions in contemporary Latin music.

In 2024, VAL wrote and directed the short film MELAO. Set in 1950s Puerto Rico, the film follows a sugarcane cutter who, driven by desperation and devotion to his family, enters a dangerous gamble with irreversible consequences. MELAO premiered at the Chinese Theatre during HollyShorts (2025).
